The right routine for your family

Do we need a routine?

A routine organises your family so that everyone is clear about their schedules, activities and duties. If you have two or more children, a routine can ensure each gets the quality time they deserve, and each knows clearly their responsibilities.

Where do we put it?

Write it out on a big sheet of paper and stick it up somewhere you all look frequently - the back of the door or on the fridge - so that it's accessible and easy to check. You won't need the paper forever, soon the routine will become second nature to your new, well-organised household!

What do we include?

The major points of the day - schedules for sleeping, waking, eating, school, homework, activities and importantly, alone-time with mom and dad. Get more help building your perfect family routine here.
