A Bouquet of Flowers For Mom
With a few sheets of adhesive craft foam, a pair of scissors, some craft pipe cleaners and decorative paint, you can create a special bouquet of flowers that Mom can keep forever.
Supplies:
- At least 10 sheets of adhesive craft foam in various colors
- Craft paint or puffy paints in various colors
- Scissors
- Colored pipe cleaners (available at craft stores)
- A styrofoam block in which to place the flowers.
Step One: Cutting out the flowers
Get creative together cutting out flowers in different shapes ... tulips, roses, daisies. Cut enough to fill your bouquet, and don't forget the leaves for the stems.
Step Two: Decorate the flowers
Use paint, pieces of foam and anything else that catches your eye to decorate the shapes you have cut out. You can even use letters to spell out words such as "I Love Mom."
Step Three: Put the flowers together
Using the adhesive backing stick the decorated flowers and leaves to the decorative pipe cleaners. Use different colors, and think about how the flowers will look once they are arranged.
Step Four: Putting it all together
Push the flowers by the bottom of the "stem" into the styrofoam block to create your bouquet.
